In snow-capped mountains you will need special technical gear, warm and water isolating clothing, and plastic boots. All routes require you to go with an experienced certified mountain guide; not only for safety reasons, but also to make sure you make the best out of your Andes trip. Normally these ascensions require two days. All you have to know Before leaving for Ecuador
Snow-less mountains require us to take specific detailed gear as we may cross some difficult paths and weather may change drastically in no time. These ascensions can be done in one day.
Due to the altitude, we recommend you take good conditioning measures that put you in a proper physical and mental shape. Depending on the mountain you choose to climb, we offer you various options of a lesser physical demand such as the Pasochoa, Corazón, Rumiñahui, Iliniza Norte and Pinchinca among others.
Before leaving for Ecuador, conditioning to the altitude and physical effort will help you climb other major Ecuadorian mountains like the Cotopaxi, Chimborazo, Cayambe, and Antisana. If you love adrenaline and you have a more experienced background climbing we offer you tours that are more technically challenging like the majestic South Illiniza, the Altar and the Sangay.
Our trekking and mountain climbing guides are highly experienced professionals; we assign one guide for every two passengers, and they travel fully equipped with communication radios and emergency mobile phones to ensure your safety at all times. The diet we provide is consistent, nutritional, and well thought; however, we will adjust our menus in case of any specific demand such as allergies, low tolerance, etc. We provide all-mountain, trekking, biking, and the fishing gear required as well as transportation needed to get back and forth from our destinations.

Volcano Ascension Tours
The Ecuadorian Andes is divided into two main chains; the Eastern and Western ranges, where the most important volcanoes in the country arise. These Volcanoes are the result of tectonic displacement and long ago, at the beginning of our history, were feared by our Indians and admired by our conquerors. In the Ecuadorian Andean Range there are a total of 39 mountains composed of mountains per se and active and inactive volcanoes more than 4 thousand meters high. Currently, most of the volcanoes are not active, and climbing to the summit is one unforgettable experience.
